So glad we did. Michael identified issues in the initial inspection that we believed had been addressed, but apparently were not including a substantial one like not having the gas line grounded to our electrical box. He also made it easier for our builder to use the report as a launching pad for identifying all the issues for repair or fixing. Don’t buy a house without an inspection, even a new one. Michael is great to work with, explains things very well so that we understood the major issues, and the prices are very reasonable. read less

We chose Michael because he was highly recommended and he allowed me to accompany him on the inspection (the inspectors I asked; either said no or said you can not ask any questions). During the inspection he pointed out items of concern and items to watch (invaluable). His report was very informative and included many photos to reference later. Included with the Inspection Report was a report by Repair Pricer software with projected repair costs. Have read and heard of reports where the home inspector opens the crawl space door and takes a photo. Michael crawled around the entire foundation; looking for cracks, water damage, poking beams for termite damage, and any additional foundation issues. Thoroughly pleased with the time and effort Michael put into the inspection. read less
